  • Meritorious Service Award
    Each year the Extension 4-H committee presents an award to an individual who has made great contributions of his/her time and talent to the 4-H program. We welcome any nominations you have for the Meritorious Service Award. Please submit to the Extension office the name and a brief statement explaining why this person should be considered for the award. This can be submitted by mail or by e-mail to Sherry Nickles and is due Oct. 5th.

  • Advisors' Handbook
    The Advisors' Handbook starts with the basics like 4-H organizational structure and mission and values statements; covers club management from planning your agenda to handling of finances; provides training in how to help your members learn and grow through their projects; and offers support and encouragement for you, your 4-H team and your family. Get it from the State 4-H web site by clicking on the link above.
  • STATE FAIR PARTICIPATION: Dog, Cat and Small Animal projects are no longer chosen for Ohio State Fair participation at the county judging.  These projects may be signed up for state fair. Entry deadline is June 20th, with a $2 entry fee per project.  Go to http://southcenters.osu.edu/4h/sm_animal/index.htm or http://southcenters.osu.edu/4h/dog/index.htm for more information, entry forms, etc.
