2008 Pesticide Applicators Education

Pesticide Certification  Training and Tests for 2008

The Ohio Department of Agriculture will be proctoring private and commercial pesticide applicator exams at 1:00 AM on at the Fisher Auditorium located on the Wooster campus of OARDC, 1680 Madison Avenue in Wooster.  All exams will begin promptly at 1pm and are for non-licensed individuals or those who wish to add another crop/use to their license.  To register for the exams, call the Ohio Department of Agriculture at (800) 282-1955, extension 31.  Registration can also be completed online by going to http://pested.osu.edu and selecting either “Private Applicator” or “Commercial Applicator” and clicking on the link marked “Testing Opportunities.”

Private Pesticide Re-certification Opportunities in 2008

 Keep in mind that if your license expires this year, certification credits and return of your recertification forms to ODA need to be completed by March 31st.

Pesticide certification and recertification schools have been completed for 2008 in Wayne Co.

For other categories that are not covered in these schools, tapes will be shown on  a date to be determined in March to obtain the required time for recertification.
