This year's Cattle Feeding School will focus on improving feedlot cost of gain by evaluating alternative feedstuffs and diet formulation and consistency of the diet when using a TMR mixer.
10:00 - Garth Ruff: Feed Cattle Market Outlook
11:00 - Dr. Haley Linder: Alternative Fiber and Protein Options
Lunch
12:45 - Jason Hartschuh & John Yost: Are your really feeding a single diet? This session will dive into hands on-farm moisture determination, as mixed/delivered TMR ration evaluations, and feeding behavior/bunk management.
2:30 - Program Evaluation
There is a registration fee of $20 to attend.
Lunch will be provided. Dress to be outdoors and indoors.
