If your club has activities which involve selling food (or giving it away for donation), or serving refreshments to large groups, at least one advisor / volunteer who is present at the event needs to be certified through the Occasional Quantity Cooks program.  More information about this program is available online at the following link:  This training can be done on-line or in-person.  The next in-person training will be offered on Tuesday March 17th from 6-8 pm at the Wayne County Extension Office.  The session will be taught by our Family and Consumer Sciences Educator Melinda Hill.  Please contact the Extension Office at 330-264-8722 to register if you plan to attend.
