All horse youth, parents, and advisors are invited to a special meeting with the Horse Committee to review changes for this year, go over forms and information that will be due June 1st, learn about changes to the special requests process, and discuss details about summer fun shows and clinics. At least one representative of each club with horse projects is required to attend. The meeting will be held on April 27th at 6:30 pm in the Coliseum at the Fairgrounds.
Additionally – please remember that all youth taking horse projects must purchase the Equine Record Book as well as the appropriate resource book. Every member must the 190R Equine Record Book and bring it with them to Skillathon.
New Ranch Pleasure Classes to be Demonstrated – April 27th
Immediately following the Horse Youth, Parents, and Advisors Informational Meeting on April 27th - Ohio 4-H Horse Show Judges Jena Lettelier and Duane Stutzman will conduct a brief demonstration of the new Ranch Pleasure classes that have been added to the Jr. Fair Horse Show. The demonstration will be conducted in the Coliseum at the conclusion of the informational meeting. These classes will be offered during this year’s Tuesday Night Summer Fun Pleasure Shows, Ohio State Fair, and Wayne County Fair.
