Course 1: Thursday, April 18 - 6:30-9:30pm
Course 2: Thursday, April 25 - 6:30-9:00pm
Course 3: Saturday, April 27 - 9:00am-Noon
Course fee: $50
The Ohio State University Extension - Wayne County will be hosting a management intensive grazing school, beginning April 18th.
This program is for anyone that is interested in improving the knowledge of pasture management and forage production.
Whether you are an experienced livestock grazer, or new to forage/hay production, you will benefit from the course.
Topics for the program include:
- Management intensive grazing
- goal setting
- improving soil fertility and forage growth
- meeting your animals’ needs
- water quality
- paddock design
- year round grazing
Participants will receive a Pastures for Profit manual and grazing stick.
