The agriculture and natural resources income tax issues webinar will be held on Monday, December 18 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. This workshop is provided in a webinar format and focuses on issues specific to farm tax returns. The workshop is open to tax preparers as well as individuals who file their own farm taxes or anyone who works with farm tax topics.

Participants can either attend at Fisher Auditorium on the OARDC campus in Wooster, or log in to the webinar from their own home or office. The webinar program will begin at 9:00 am, take a one-hour break for lunch, resume at 1:00 pm and conclude at 3:00 pm. For those attending at Fisher, registration and sign-in begins at 8:30 am. The webinar is considered an intermediate level course and focuses on changes in tax laws and common tax issue concerns. Participants have the opportunity to send in specific questions and get them answered during the webinar. Tax professionals can receive continuing education credits.

Some of the topics that will be covered during the webinar include Agricultural Income and Expenses, Net Operating Losses, Form 4797, Buying and Selling Farmland, Rental Property, Disposition of Converted Wetlands, Demolition of Structures and other topics.

Wayne County Extension will host the webinar in Fisher Auditorium on the OARDC campus in Wooster. The $130 registration fee includes the Agricultural Tax Issues Workbook, lunch and refreshments. In order to ensure that the Agricultural Tax Issues Workbook arrives in the mail by the workshop date, registration must be received by December 11.
