To All Livestock Exhibitors - livestock update, September 9th at 3:15 pm.

Livestock Show Updates

The only show time that is changing is the Sheep show on Monday night. No other shows will change at all, normal start times for everything.

Sheep:  The sheep show is going to start promptly at 5:00pm (not 6pm).  We are adding 2 Make-up sheep showmanship classes, at the end of sheep showmanship, between beginner showmanship and Pro-showman.  There will be a class for 18-14 year olds and a class for 13-8 year olds.  The purpose of this class is for the swine kids that cannot make it to their sheep showmanship class, they can make it to the later class and hopefully the swine show is over at that point in time!

Dairy: for Tuesday only exhibitors are not required to wear their whites.   For showmanship and sale days they are still REQUIRED to wear their whites, no exceptions! If you cannot show your cattle in its breed class it is your responsibility to find someone to show your animals.  If you cannot be present for the dairy products auction you MUST contact a dairy committee member and let them know!

Live Stream:  We are going to do our very best to try to live stream the Hog show on both Wayne County 4-H Facebook page and Wayne County Jr Fair Youtube page.  If this is possible, there will also be a live stream set up in the sheep and swine arena for anyone who wants to watch, we will do our bests to get this set up and working properly in this short time. There will also be a white board posted in the sheep / swine arena with what classes the hogs in Richland County are currently on.

Poultry and Swine: these conflicts are hard to avoid, we ask exhibitors to pick which project is priority to them.
