4-H CARTEENS is a traffic safety program for first-time juvenile traffic offenders.

CARTEENS Leaders will assist in teaching their teen peers about safe driving and the dangers of texting and driving, drinking and driving, and other vehicular safety issues.

Teens participating as CARTEENS leaders will have the opportunity to gain and enhance their public speaking, leadership, and teaching skills.

Teens interested in becoming a Wayne County 4-H CARTEENS Leader should apply on the annual Ohio 4-H Achievement Record normally due to the Extension Office November 3rd or reach out to 4-H Program Assistant Shelby Tedrow to see if additional help is needed at anytime of the year.
