Fertilizer applicators who received certification are on a 3-year renewal cycle similar to the pesticide license applicator program.  Those applicators who received certification during the fall of 2014 or winter of 2015 need to attend fertilizer recertification training by March 31 of 2018 to renew and retain their fertilizer applicator certification.  Recertification is a one hour program. For those who also have a pesticide license, your fertilizer certificate and recertification date/year should be synched to your pesticide license. 

Wayne and Holmes County Extension offices will collaborate to offer fertilizer applicator recertification training according to the schedule below.   The cost of fertilizer recertification is $10 per certificate holder.  Make checks payable to OSU Extension.  Please pre-register with the Wayne County Extension office at 330-264-8722 at least a day before the program you plan to attend.
