Agricultural Outlook: Wayne County 2022

Curious what 2022 has in store? Forages for Horses Webinar Series

The virtual Forages for Horses course will consist of three 90-minute webinars offering a variety of pasture and management topics.  Once registered, attendees will be granted access to the online course including the webinars and compliementary resources.  Participants that attend all three webinars will have the opportunity to earn a certificate of completion.  Registered participants will also receive by mail, their choice of a curriculum binder or USB drive of the course.

Cost is $75.00 which includes a digital copy of the Forages of Horses Manual.  A physical copy may be added to cart at checkout.  Current and new members of the Ohio Forages and Grasslands Council are eligible for a $15 discount on registration.  Register by visiting

Farm Financial Management School:  Planning for the future of your farm

Need help planning for the fugure of your farm?  Join OSU Extension at one of its "Planning for the Future of Your Farm" workshops during the winter of 2022.  This workshiop is designed to help farm families as they develop a plan for the transfer of the farm's ownership, management, and assetts to the next generation.
