Don’t have the time to sit through a Level 2 Food Safety Training?
Can’t find one near you?
We have the answer!

OSU Extension has partnered with TAP (Training Achievement Program) Series to offer an on-line version of Level 2 Food Safety training which meets all ODH requirements and replaces the 15 hour (2 day) classroom study requirement.
(The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) now requires all food service facilities licensed at a 'Risk Level 3 or higher' to have at least one staff person who has completed an ODH approved Level 2 Food Safety training. Link to Ohio Department of Health's Food Safety Ohio Certification webpage).

You can complete the online course at your own speed and at a time that works for you. Once training is completed, you will take an Ohio Department of Health approved proctored certification exam at a local test center

Total cost only $121: Enrollment into the online training is $73 per person, and the ODH approved examination at a test center is $48 per person. Click Tap Series purchase link to continue.
